定位
關渡電影節由國立臺北藝術大學電影創作學系主辦，為國內少數由電影系學生主導策畫之影展，每年十月於北藝大校內舉行。放映節目包含全國徵件與國際交流學校之作品，望促進國內外影視科系學生之間的觀摩與學習。
關渡電影節作為展現青年創作者視野的平台，期許年輕世代透過電影藝術來處理不同時期「世界的變遷」與自身的關係。影展活動策劃重視電影創作者之間的交流，期待每一個未來的電影人在此找到新的刺激與共鳴。
歷程
關渡電影節自2009年舉辦第一屆，歷年積極與國際電影學校進行交流並規劃節目單元，如今已和英國、以色列、韓國、泰國、印度、法國、波蘭、日本、捷克、墨西哥、英國等國家的影視相關院校合作過。
2025年即將邁入第十七屆，本屆延續自第八屆開始舉辦的「國內大專院校影視相關系所學生邀請展」，規劃臺灣學生電影徵件活動。評選團隊由北藝大電影系策展小組之學生組成，以青年創作者觀點選出該屆徵件結果。入選作品於影展期間公開放映，並依節目安排邀請創作團隊到場參與對談，分享創作理念和想法。
歷屆曾與多所國際電影學校進行放映交流活動，如泰國朱拉隆功大學（Chulalongkorn University）及法政大學（Thammasat University）電影學系、紐約大學（New York University）悌席藝術學院（Tisch）亞洲分校、韓國藝術大學（Korea National University of Arts）電影創作學系、倫敦電影學院（London Film School）、日本映畫大學（The Japan Institute of the Moving Image）、菲律賓國立大學（University of the Philippines）藝術學院視覺傳達學系、印度國立電影電視學院（Whistling Woods International）、印度薩雅吉雷電影及電視學院（Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute）、波蘭洛茲電影學院（Lódz Film School）、香港浸會大學（Hong Kong Baptist University）、香港演藝學院（Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts）、以色列特拉維夫電影學院（Tel Aviv University）、捷克布拉格表演藝術學院（FAMU）電影與電視學院、墨⻄哥國立自治大學（UNAM）電影藝術學院、以色列山姆．史匹格電影電視學校（Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film School）、法國國家影像與聲音高等學院（La Fémis）、法國國立當代藝術工作室（Le Fresnoy）、加拿大康考迪亞大學 — 梅爾・霍本海默電影學院 (Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema)。
除了國際校系交流之外，也曾與國際影展合作，如馬來西亞東南亞短片節（SeaShorts Film Festival）、香港IFVA獨立短片及影像媒體節、高雄電影節、福岡獨立電影節（Fukuoka Independent Film Festival）、法國克萊蒙費宏國際短片影展（Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival）等。
宗旨
北藝大電影創作學系主辦關渡電影節旨在讓本系學生透過「直接參與」，瞭解影展活動策劃與執行等各項工作內容。藉由實際參與影展幕後工作，拓展有別於創作者的觀影視野。關渡電影節希望增加本系學生與國際電影學校師生交流的機會，並促進創作者與校內外觀眾之間的接觸。關渡電影節支持本系學生及國內學生踴躍投件，校內外人士除了藉此影展接觸國際上各類多元豐富類型的影片外，更擴大年輕創作者之作品的能見度。
1. 廣邀世界各國電影學院或電影大師的作品，深化教師教學效果、增廣學生世界視野。
2. 推廣本校優質教學成果，提升在國際學術界藝術領域之能見度。
3. 校內跨系所學生互相觀摩創作成果。
4. 本校師生檢視本學系學生之學習成果。
5. 創作者能在放映過程實際與觀眾交流，得到回饋。
6. 觀眾能免費接觸到更豐富類型的作品與講座，擴增視野。
Established by Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA), Kuan Du Film Festival (KDFF) is one of the four major festivals in the school. Annually, during October, the event is organized by the department of filmmaking on campus and is well-known for the exchange activities with film schools around the world.
By screening students’ films nationwide, the film festival aims to form an exceptional connection with the audience, which tackles the pure core of creation. International-wide, KDFF sincerely welcomes young creators from around the world to exchange ideas through their work, broaden horizons, and eventually promote and popularize TNUA Filmmaking Department.
KDFF has been celebrated for its seventeen year since 2009. Each year, the theme varies, yet the festival hopes to engage various countries and bring the respective film culture for exposure, as well as the ability to exchange ideas and opinions learnt from each different country. In the past years, KDFF has had the honor to showcase films from a variety of film schools across the globe, such as Israel, Thailand, India, France, Poland, the UK, Japan, Czech, and Mexico. In 2020, despite the challenges brought by the pandemic, KDFF was committed to seeking out collaborative opportunities and worked with the Kaohsiung Film Festival, IFVA, and Seashorts Film Festival.
