朱拉隆功大學為泰國首座高等學府，承襲皇家教育政策，旨在為全體人民提供均等學習機會，是享譽亞洲與全球的頂尖大學。

其中所屬傳播藝術學院的「電影與靜態攝影系」（Department of Motion Pictures and Still Photography），致力於培養學生的影像美學與實務技術，學程採跨領域整合的教學模式，培育學生創作出從傳統電影媒材到影像裝置等各類基於鏡頭的藝術作品。

本系每年舉辦名為「Kangjor」的畢業展覽，畢業製作的創作形式涵蓋劇情、紀錄、實驗、靜態攝影與裝置藝術，被視為泰國電影系所畢業成果展的原型典範。學生在此得以自由探索多元創作形式，以鏡頭回應社會議題並擴展個人的藝術視野，為本系貫徹始終的核心宗旨。

The Department of Motion Pictures and Still Photography within the Faculty of Communication Arts is dedicated to cultivating students’ visual aesthetics and practical skills. Its curriculum adopts an interdisciplinary approach, equipping students with the skills and creativity to produce a diverse range of camera-based artworks, from traditional film media to moving-image installations.

The department holds an annual graduation exhibition called “Kangjor,” featuring student works across a range of forms, including narrative film, documentary, experimental film, still photography, and installation art. The exhibition is regarded as a model for graduation exhibitions at film departments in Thailand. Here, students are encouraged to freely explore diverse forms of creative expression, respond to social issues through cameras, and expand their individual artistic perspectives, which is a core principle of the department.
